Is it possible to book a private tour for my group only?
Yes, absolutely! You have to be at least 6 persons or pay for 6 persons for us to conduct a private closed group tour.
Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?
No. We operate in rain or sunshine. Should it rain a bit we have extra rain protection in our office that is offered to you at no cost.
Do I need to reserve the bike tour in advance?
You are always welcome to come by but we recommend you to book online to avoid disappointment.
Can I cancel my reservation and get my money back?
We will refund the amount paid for all bookings if you cancel no later than 14 days before tour start, however minus a 25% deposit. Booked tours are not refundable if canceled within 14 days before tour starts.
Can I change my reservation to another of your bike tours?
Yes, it is possible to change your reservation at least 24 hours before your tour starts. A fee of DKK 75,- / 10,- EUR per person will be applied.
What languages do your guides speak?
As a standard all of our bike tours are conducted in English. Our guides are trained to speak slowly and articulate well with guest who are not native in English. Private tours can be requested in Danish & German
What time do I need to get there for my tour?
Your tour will start promptly at the scheduled time. The latest check-in for our tour is 10 minutes prior to departure time.
Am I allowed to take pictures during the tour?
Absolutely! Short stops along the route will allow for some time to step down from your machine to get shots of the city and our guides are more than happy to take photos of you and your group on the bikes as well.
Should I wear any specific clothes for the tour?
Ladies should avoid shoes with a high heel. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. In the winter months you should wear extra layers of clothes to stay warm in the Danish Winter.
How big will my group be?
Our tours operate in groups of maximum 10-12 people per tour guide.
How do we hear the tour guide?
Your helmet is equipped with a built-in headset in great quality. You will be able to hear our guide as we glide through the charming streets of Copenhagen.
Where is the meeting point?
All bike tours begin at our office located at Nikolaj Plads # 34. We are centrally located close to the main shopping street Stroeget.
Where is the closest train station?
The Metro stations, Kongens Nytorv and Gammel Strand (Old Beach) is a 1 minute walk away. The Copenhagen Central Station is a 15 minute walk from our office.
Is there parking available near the office?
It is possible to park on the street where we are located and the streets around us (at a fee). However, as in most major cities, finding an available parking spot can be a challenge at times. The closest indoor parking garage is at the Magasin department store.
Can I rent a bike in Copenhagen city without a guide?
In Copenhagen City / inner city it is possible to rent a bike on your own. You must be 25 years of age and present a valid photo ID such as a passport or driver’s license. As a renter of bike on your own, the renter is fully responsible throughout the rental period. Renting a bike on your own can only be preceded by payment by credit card / Dankort, issued to the renter. A deposit of DKK 3,000.- per bike may be withheld and will be released upon return.
Are the tours cancelled in case of heavy snow and ice?
On rare occasions Copenhagen can experience snow and ice in the months of December, January or February. Should the roads not have be cleared and ready for our bikes – the tour will be cancelled and a full refund will be given.
I am organizing a group tour. What If I do not know the exact number of participants by now?
We offer flexible group bookings where we make a reservation for the maximum number of participants in the group – no money needs to be transferred at this time. 14 days before the tour we need the final number of participant and we will issue the invoice to you.
